Damage Characterization of Cryogenic Composites undergoing Thermomechanical Loading

Brief Description:
The project includes how the thermal cycling of composite specimens at cryogenic temperature affects their material properties and failure behavior. Also, the combined thermal/mechanical loading test has been investigated.

The objectives of the Project are:

To characterize damage states in cryogenic composites that undergo different thermomechanical loading cycles.

To investigate the effect of thermomechanical loading paths on damage development.
